Amy Rayne Ingram is originally from South Louisiana where she first graduated from Louisiana State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Classical Civilizations and a second degree from LSU was completed in 2012, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
At Tom Abbate Law, Amy is the lead paralegal and legal assistant, and is available to provide patient advocate services for those clients requiring medical care or acute and chronic conditions while incarcerated in local jails and TDCJ. In 2017, Amy completed Community Health Worker training at the UT School of Public Health, and is currently licensed through the Texas Department of State Health Services. Also in 2017, Ms. Ingram completed the 36 credit Certification Course in Patient Advocacy through UCLA, and she will be completing the credentialing process to become a Board Certified Patient Advocate in early 2020.
Before moving into the legal field, Amy worked in the non-profit sector for over five years, primarily in the field of mental health advocacy. She also has a background in retirement and estate planning, with a focus on Medicare, long-term care, and advanced directives/living wills.
